Viviane Then is Stylo Milo
Seen in most often: It depends what I’m doing. I love the sea and wakeboard a lot on the weekends so I’m usually in shades, berms/capris/boardshorts and beachwear.
Formal wear: At work, I swap for a more chic look. At parties/functions I swing between bohemian and mod. Dresses and pants are the staple.
Favourite piece of clothing: My fisherman pants from Thailand! Because it’s comfortable and it gives a bohemian feeling.
Individual style: Modern chic (even when I’m doing sports)
Style note: Less is best, so don’t try too hard to over-accessorize.

Thank you for having me on your pretty website. Allow me to introduce you to cool stuff that I’ve found on the fluffy interweb. Today, let’s talk about music that nobody’s really paid attention to, when they really should.
New Yorkers John Emanuele and Richard Cupolo offers a refreshing take on the post-rock genre. Suitable for pretty much anytime of the day, they bring you on an eclectic sonic journey that inspires and rejuvenates. Their offering this 2010, Atlas, is a collection of 13 songs that I guarantee will knock your socks off.
What got me started on them, though, was this one:
Just click play and you’ll know what I mean. I beseech you to do them justice by clicking on fullscreen, and using some good cans (i.e. headphones!). It’ll be sweeter if you have lovely speakers.
Hailing from Seattle, Washington, Barcelona is a piano rock band that you should keep a lookout for. The outfit, comprising Brian Fennell, Chris Bristol and Rhett Stonelake, released their debut album “Absolutes” in 2007 independently, and has since garnered the interest of people beyond the West Coast.
I’ll let the video speak for itself
On a sidenote, the video above features the Kuroshio Sea (with the world’s second largest acrylic glass panel), which is the main tank in the Okinawa Churaumi Aquarium. It holds 7,500-cubic meters of water. (Damn!)
Ahhh.. nuevo-jazz. With a drizzle of progressive rock and honey. Aaron Parks is reinventing jazz with every key he plays with a flat finger (in the likes of Art Tatum and Thelonius Monk). His variety of stylish offerings makes you thirst for more. You can almost see/smell/taste/hear the city when you close your eyes and tune in.
This one’s called Roadside Distraction:
And then, there was Nemesis:
Alright friends, that’s all I have for you today. Take care of yourselves, and have a chilled out weekend. Don’t forget to support these artists — Amazon, iTunes, whatever!

Classic Men: Robert Downey Jr

Oh yeah, was fishing around for yummy male getups and chanced upon one of my favourite men in style: none other than the Iron Man himself,

Robert Downey Jr.
Whether dressed to the nines in a classic power suit, or decked out in t-shirt and slacks (refers to appearance in Elton John’s MTV below), he still manages to look hair-pullingly delectable.
His style is timeless and effortless. Take notes guys! And ladies, keep calm.
And I chanced upon this while researching Downey. Enjoy!
